The second trailer for The Avengers Age of Ultron is certainly changing the tone for the franchise. It is a dark, gloomy and foreboding trailer, suggesting some vast odds and internal struggles between the biggest band of super heroes ever put together on the big screen. James Spader’s super villain Ultron narrates most of the trailer, giving us a little idea of what plans he has for earth and our heroes, and they don’t sound like much fun.
There are all sorts of rumors, and pockets of knowledge flying around the internet, as well as the recently released Marvel roadmap (LINK), and piecing these things together we can probably formulate some grand ideas as to how things might unfold. But one thing we do know is that Age of Ultron is going to be huge, and there are plenty of open questions to keep up intrigued. Who is the random woman disrobing in some underground cave? What is the meaning of the emotional moment between Black Widow and Hulk in the trailer? Has Ultron used Tony Stark’s own designs against them?
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for release on May 1st of 2015, and will star Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffallo, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner, James Spader among many others.
